The wpForo User Mentioning addon is a premium extension for the wpForo forum plugin. It is designed to increase user engagement by allowing members to “tag” each other in topics and replies, similar to social media platforms.

Autocomplete Suggestions: When a user types the @ symbol, a popup window appears with a list of suggested members.
Keyboard Navigation: Users can scroll through the suggested list using up/down arrow keys and select a member by pressing Enter.
Instant Notifications: Mentioned users automatically receive an email notification with a link to the specific post where they were tagged.
Inline Mentioning: Supports mentioning users anywhere within the post body (added in version 3.3.0).
User Privacy: Users can “mute” or disable mention notifications directly from their forum profile settings.
