  • Authorize & Capture (Delayed Payment): You can authorize a payment when a user first submits a form (holding the funds) but wait to “Capture” the payment until after an approval step (e.g., after a manager approves an application or a technician confirms stock).

    • Note: Stripe authorizations typically expire after 7 days, so the capture must happen within that window.

  • Refund Payment: Automate refunds as a workflow step. For example, if a “Return Request” workflow is rejected, you can trigger an automatic refund of the original transaction.

  • Cancel Payment: If a pre-authorized request is denied (e.g., a booking is rejected), this step voids the authorization so the customer is never charged.

  • Subscription Management: You can create steps to automatically cancel a recurring subscription if a certain condition is met in your workflow (like a “Cancellation Request” form being approved).
