Core Functionality: “Channels”

The addon operates through Channels. You can create multiple independent channels, each with its own configuration:

• Trigger Mechanism: It checks your site for new content (posts, custom post types, products) at specific intervals.

• Smart Skipping: If no new content is found since the last delivery, the plugin can automatically skip the sending process to avoid bothering subscribers with old news.

• Regeneration: Every time a newsletter is triggered, the dynamic blocks are refreshed with the most recent data.

Scheduling Options

The scheduler is highly precise, allowing for various cadences:

• Hourly: Ideal for “Breaking News” sites.

• Daily: Set a specific time (e.g., every day at 9:00 AM).

• Weekly: Select specific days of the week (e.g., every Monday and Thursday).

• Monthly: Send on a specific day of the month.

• Immediate Trigger: Includes a “Send Now” button to bypass the schedule for urgent updates.

Design & Content (The Composer)

Automated newsletters use the same Drag & Drop Composer as standard campaigns, but with “Dynamic Blocks”:

• Content Extraction: Pulls from Posts, Pages, WooCommerce Products, or Custom Post Types (CPTs).

• Filtering: Filter content by Category, Tag, or Author.

• Dynamic Subjects: The subject line can be automatically generated based on the title of the first post included in the newsletter.

• Custom Styling: Fully responsive layouts that inherit your site’s branding.

Targeting & Segmentation

• List Selection: Assign each channel to a specific subscriber list (e.g., “Weekly Digest Subscribers”).

• Multilanguage Support: Integrates with WPML, Polylang, and TranslatePress. You can create different channels for different languages to ensure users receive content in their preferred tongue.

• Channel Subscription: Users can choose which “Channel” they want to follow during the signup process.

Reports & Management

• Statistics: Integrated with the Reports Addon. You can track opens, clicks, and bounces for every automatically generated email.

• History: A dedicated panel shows all previously sent automated newsletters and their current status.

• Status Panel: Displays a preview of which posts are currently “queued” to be sent in the next scheduled run.
