Off-site Processing: Users are redirected to PayPal.com to pay, meaning you don’t need an SSL certificate for the payment step itself (though it’s still recommended for your site).
Payment Types: Supports both Products and Services and Donations.
Conditional Logic: You can use “Smart Conditional Logic” to only show the PayPal option if a user selects a specific product or checks a “Pay via PayPal” box.
Notification Delay: You can configure the form to only send the “Admin Notification” email after the payment is confirmed via PayPal’s IPN (Instant Payment Notification).
Sandbox Mode: Includes a toggle to switch between Production and Test (Sandbox) modes for safe testing.

When configuring the addon within the WPForms builder (Payments > PayPal Standard), you must define:
PayPal Email Address: The primary email for your business account.
Mode: Production vs. Test.
Payment Type: Products/Services or Donations.
Cancel URL: Where users go if they click “Cancel” on the PayPal screen.
Shipping: Toggle to ask for a shipping address on the PayPal checkout page.
Note: You can allow users to include a note with their payment.
