This is EXACTLY the same product as distributed by the developer. Sales Page
Key Features
-
Automated Exports: Automatically generates export files (CSV, Excel, JSON, or PDF) and uploads them to S3 without manual intervention.
-
Flexible Scheduling: You can set the S3 upload to trigger:
-
On Form Submission: Immediate backup as soon as a user hits “Submit.”
-
On a Schedule: Hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly digests.
-
-
Task Chaining: You can configure a “chain” where the plugin exports the entry to S3 and then deletes the entry from your WordPress database. This is a powerful feature for GDPR compliance and keeping your server lightweight.
-
Custom File Paths: You can specify exactly which bucket and folder path the files should be sent to within your AWS console.
How to Set It Up
-
Install & Authenticate: In your WordPress dashboard, go to Forms → Settings → Entry Automation. Enter your AWS Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.
-
Create a Task: Go to the specific Gravity Form you want to automate. Under Settings → Entry Automation, click “Add New.”
-
Configure Action: Set the “Automation Action” to Export Entries.
-
Enable S3: In the “Connection Settings” tab, toggle on Upload Export File to Amazon S3.
-
Select Bucket: Choose your target S3 bucket from the dropdown menu and define your folder path.
Why Use This Over Standard Gravity Forms?
Standard Gravity Forms stores everything in your wp_options and wp_rg_lead database tables. Over time, thousands of entries (especially those with file uploads) can bloat your database and slow down your site. Using the S3 extension ensures your data is backed up in a high-durability environment while keeping your WordPress site lean.
