This extension acts as a “bridge” for the parent plugin. Its primary purpose is to automate the delivery of your form data.
Automated Export Delivery: Automatically sends your generated export files (CSV, Excel, JSON, or PDF) to a specific folder in your Dropbox account.
Flexible Scheduling: You can set the data to sync:
On Form Submission: Every time someone hits “Submit.”
On a Schedule: Hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly (e.g., “Every Friday at 5:00 PM”).
Custom Folder Paths: Use Gravity Forms merge tags to dynamically name folders or files (e.g., saving entries into a folder named after the Year or Form Name).
Task Chaining: You can set a “chain” where the plugin first exports the data to Dropbox and then automatically deletes the entry from your WordPress database to stay GDPR compliant.
Conditional Logic: Only send entries to Dropbox if they meet certain criteria (e.g., “Only export if the ‘Department’ field is set to ‘Sales'”).
Install & Activate: Once you have the Entry Automation Pro license, you install the Dropbox Extension directly from the Entry Automation settings page within WordPress.
Authenticate: Click the “Authenticate with Dropbox” button in settings. This uses OAuth, so you don’t have to share your Dropbox password—you just grant the app permission.
Create a Task: Go to Forms → Settings → Entry Automation and create a “New Task.”
