The wpDiscuz – Google reCAPTCHA integration is a security feature designed to protect your WordPress comment forms from bots and automated spam. It is important to distinguish between the built-in version and the premium addon.

Built-in (Free): wpDiscuz 7.0+ includes native support for Google reCAPTCHA v2 (“I’m not a robot” checkbox). It is free and part of the core plugin.
Premium Addon: To use reCAPTCHA v3 (Invisible) or Invisible v2, you must purchase the specific wpDiscuz reCAPTCHA addon from gVectors.

To get the system running, you need to generate API keys from the Google reCAPTCHA Admin Console:
Site Key: Used to display the widget on your site.
Secret Key: Used for communication between your server and Google to verify the user.
Key Matching: You must use v2 keys for v2 settings and v3 keys for v3 settings. Mixing them will result in an “Invalid Key Type” error.
Once you have your keys, navigate to:
Comments > wpDiscuz > Settings > Google reCAPTCHA
Request Method: Usually set to “Auto,” but can be adjusted if your server has specific firewall restrictions.
Language Code: Can be left blank to auto-detect the user’s browser language, or forced to a specific language (e.g., en, es, fr).
Theme: Choose between Light and Dark to match your website’s aesthetic.
