The wpDiscuz – Private Comments plugin is a premium add-on designed to extend the core wpDiscuz functionality. It allows users to initiate private discussions that are hidden from the general public, visible only to the comment author and authorized site staff.

Private Thread Creation: Adds a “Private” checkbox/button next to the comment submit button.
Selective Privacy: Users can make an entire thread private or toggle the privacy of a parent comment after it has been submitted.

Website Administrators.
Moderators (or specific user roles granted permission).

Guest Comments: Private comments generally cannot be used by guest (non-logged-in) users, as the system needs to verify the “owner” to display the thread back to them.
