Global Tag: Automatically adds every new member to one master list in ConvertKit.
Per-Membership Tags: Assign unique tags based on the specific plan a user joins (e.g., “Gold Member,” “Free Trial”).
Status-Based Tags: Automatically add or remove tags when a member’s status changes to Active or Inactive (Expired/Cancelled).
You can map MemberPress custom registration fields to ConvertKit subscriber fields.
Note: You must manually create the field in ConvertKit with a matching label before MemberPress can push data to it.
By using ConvertKit’s internal automations, you can trigger specific welcome sequences or “win-back” campaigns the moment a MemberPress tag is applied or removed.
Enable the Add-on: Go to MemberPress > Add-ons and install the Kit add-on.
API Connection: Navigate to MemberPress > Settings > Marketing. Check “Enable Kit” and paste your API Secret (found in your ConvertKit account under Settings > Advanced).
Configure Tags:
Select your Global Tag.
To set specific tags, go to MemberPress > Memberships, edit a membership, and look under the Advanced tab for the Kit settings.
