Core Technical Specifications

Key Features

1. Automated Meeting Generation

Once an appointment is “Approved,” the addon automatically creates a Zoom meeting. The Join Link is then instantly available for both the customer and the agent (staff member).

2. Multi-Agent Mapping

You can link individual LatePoint Agents to specific Zoom Users within your Zoom account.

• Agent A → Zoom User 1

• Agent B → Zoom User 2

• This allows multiple staff members to host separate virtual meetings simultaneously without account conflicts.

3. Service-Specific Settings

You don’t have to use Zoom for everything. You can toggle “Create Zoom meeting” on a per-service basis. This allows you to offer both In-Person and Virtual sessions on the same booking form.

4. Smart Notifications

The addon adds dedicated variables to LatePoint’s email and SMS templates:

• {zoom_join_url}: The link for the customer.

• {zoom_start_url}: The link for the staff member to start the meeting.

• {zoom_meeting_password}: If required by your Zoom security settings.

Integration Requirements (Zoom Side)

To connect the addon, you must create a Server-to-Server OAuth App in the Zoom App Marketplace. You will need to provide the following scopes:

• Meeting: View and manage all user meetings (all checkboxes).

• User: View users (to allow agent mapping).
