The GamiPress – Points Cards plugin is a specialized add-on designed to bridge digital gamification with physical interactions. It allows users to “withdraw” their digital points in the form of digital cards (often with QR codes) that can be redeemed at physical locations or by other users (commerces).

Card Generation: Users can convert a specific amount of digital points into a “Points Card.” This “burns” the points from their digital balance and generates a unique code.
QR Code Support: Automatically generates QR codes for each card, allowing for quick scanning at physical points of sale or via mobile devices.
Commerce Management System: * Application Form: Users can apply to become “Commerces.”
Approval Workflow: Site admins can manually approve or reject commerce applications.
Redemption Tracking: Approved commerces get a dedicated dashboard to redeem customer cards and earn those points themselves.
Expiration Engine: Administrators can set cards to expire after a specific duration (hours, days, weeks, or months) to encourage timely use.
The plugin provides several “building blocks” to create the user and commerce interface:

The plugin adds new triggers to the GamiPress engine, allowing you to automate rewards based on card activity:
On Generation: Award an achievement when a user generates their first card.
On Redemption: Notify a user or award the commerce bonus points when a card is successfully scanned.
On Expiration: Deduct additional points or send a “missed out” email if a card expires unused.
The plugin includes a dedicated email system to notify parties at every stage:
To User: When a card is generated (contains the QR code/link), when it’s redeemed, or when it expires.
To Commerce: When their application is approved/rejected or when they successfully redeem a customer’s card.
To Admin: When a new commerce application is submitted.
