The GamiPress – Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) Points Gateway is a specialized extension that transforms your GamiPress points into a functional currency within your Easy Digital Downloads store. Essentially, it treats your points as a “standard” payment gateway, similar to how the system treats PayPal or Stripe.

Custom Conversion Rates: You can set unique exchange rates for each point type. For example, you could set 100 “Gold” = $1.00 and 500 “Silver” = $1.00.
Vendor Rewards: If you use a multi-vendor setup, points used for a purchase can be automatically awarded to the download’s vendor.
Checkout Visibility: The total points required for a purchase are dynamically displayed on the checkout page and included in the final purchase receipt.
Gateway Management: Like any other EDD gateway, you can enable/disable specific point types as payment methods globally.
To run this plugin effectively, your WordPress environment generally needs to meet the following:
