The EDD Product Catalog Feed by PixelYourSite is a specialized extension (or standalone feature within the Pro ecosystem) designed for WordPress sites using Easy Digital Downloads (EDD). The plugin automates the creation of an XML feed that syncs your digital catalog with the Facebook Product Catalog. This allows you to run Dynamic Product Ads, which show users the exact digital products they viewed or added to their cart.
Smart Mapping: Automatically pulls data from your EDD products to fill required Facebook fields (Title, Description, Price, etc.).
EDD-Specific Filters: You can create feeds based on:
Product Type: Filter by “Single Product” or “Bundle.“
Price Logic: Include only paid products, free products, or all.
Software Licenses: If using the EDD Software License add-on, you can filter by license type (Lifetime vs. Limited).
Auto-Refresh (WP-Cron): You can set the feed to update automatically (Hourly, Daily, or Weekly). This ensures that if you change a price or add a new digital download, Facebook sees it without you having to re-upload files.
Data Formatting: It can automatically remove capital letters from titles (to comply with Facebook’s ad policies) and define tax rules so the feed reflects the final checkout price.
Generate the Feed: Inside the plugin settings, you name your feed and select the EDD categories you want to include.
Unique URL: The plugin generates a dedicated XML URL.
Sync to Facebook: You paste this URL into the Meta Commerce Manager under “Data Sources.”
