The core purpose of the CSV add-on is to bridge the gap between static spreadsheet data and active WordPress tasks. Instead of just “uploading” data, it uses each row of a CSV as a Trigger to fire off a series of Actions.

The CSV add-on supports several ways to ingest data and use it dynamically:
Data Sources: You can upload a physical .csv file, paste raw CSV text directly into the plugin, or connect to Google Sheets (available in the Pro version).
Dynamic Tags: The plugin automatically detects the columns in your CSV. You can then use these columns as “tags” in your actions (e.g., using a column named User_Email to fill the “To” field in an automated email).
Scheduled Imports: You can set the automation to run once, on a specific future date, or on a recurring basis (e.g., every Monday at 9:00 AM).
Looping Logic: It processes the file row-by-row, ensuring that if you have 500 rows, the chosen action (like “Create Post”) happens 500 times.
