The integration generally breaks down into two categories:
1. ARMember Triggers (When this happens in ARMember…)
User added to a membership plan: Fire an automation the moment someone signs up or is manually added.
User cancels a membership plan: (Pro Feature) Trigger a “win-back” email sequence or remove their access from other parts of your site immediately.
2. ARMember Actions (Do this in ARMember…)
Add user to membership plan: Automatically grant a membership level when a user does something elsewhere (e.g., finishes a course in LearnDash or fills out a specific form).
Cancel the user’s membership plan: (Pro Feature) Revoke access automatically if a user performs a specific “negative” action or finishes a specific journey.
Onboarding: When a user joins a specific ARMember plan, use AutomatorWP to send their data to a CRM like Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign.
Gamification: When a user completes a set of tasks (via GamiPress or BadgeOS), use an action to automatically upgrade their ARMember plan for free.
Community Building: When a user joins a membership, automatically add them to a BuddyBoss group or a specific bbPress forum.
External Sync: Use Webhooks to send member data to external apps (like Google Sheets) every time a new member joins.
