The Events Calendar: Community Events is a premium add-on for the popular WordPress plugin The Events Calendar. While the core plugin is great for admins who want to post their own events, Community Events turns your site into a crowdsourced platform where visitors can submit their own events from the front end.

Front-End Submission Form: Users can submit events without ever seeing your WordPress dashboard (the “back-end”).
Publishing Control: You decide the level of trust. You can set it so events go live immediately, or hold them as “Drafts” for admin moderation.
User Management: You can require users to register/log in before submitting, or allow anonymous submissions (with CAPTCHA to prevent spam).
My Events Dashboard: Registered users get a front-end list where they can view, edit, or delete their own past and upcoming submissions.
Customizable Fields: You can choose which fields to show or hide on the submission form, such as venue, organizer, cost, and event image.
The plugin adds a specific URL (usually /events/community/add) to your site. You can also use shortcodes to embed the form anywhere:
