How to Set It Up

If you have a Plus license or higher, you can follow these steps:

• Install the Addon: Go to Envira Gallery > Addons, find the “Slideshow Addon,” and click Install then Activate.

• Edit a Gallery: Open an existing gallery or create a new one.

• Enable Slideshow: Look for the Slideshow tab in the gallery settings menu.

• Configure:

  • Check the box “Enable Gallery Slideshow?”

  • Choose whether to Autoplay the slideshow.

  • Set the Slideshow Speed (e.g., 5000 for 5 seconds).

• Publish: Save your changes. Now, when a user clicks an image on your site, the lightbox will transition through the photos automatically.

Why use this instead of a “Slider” plugin?

Standard slider plugins (like Soliloquy or Revolution Slider) are great for hero banners at the top of a page. However, the Envira Slideshow Addon is better for:
