The Envira Gallery Albums Addon is a powerful extension for the Envira Gallery WordPress plugin that allows you to organize multiple individual galleries into a single, cohesive “Album.”
Think of a Gallery as a collection of photos (e.g., “Summer Wedding 2025”) and an Album as a collection of those galleries (e.g., “Portfolio” or “2025 Events”).

The Albums Addon is designed to make high-volume image management much cleaner for both the admin and the visitor.
Drag-and-Drop Organization: Once activated, you get a new “Albums” menu. You can simply drag existing galleries into an album to group them.
Cover Photos: You can select a specific image from a gallery to act as the “Cover” for that gallery within the album.
Standalone URLs: Just like individual galleries, albums can have their own dedicated URLs, making them easy to link to directly.
Layout Customization: * Set the number of columns and gutter (spacing) between galleries.
Enable/disable gallery titles and image counts (e.g., “Nature (24 images)”).
Add descriptions above or below the album.
Navigation Options: You can choose whether clicking a gallery in an album opens the gallery in a lightbox or takes the user to a standalone gallery page.
To use the Albums Addon, you must have a Pro or Agency level license for Envira Gallery.
Install the Addon: Go to Envira Gallery > Addons, find the “Albums Addon,” and click Install then Activate.
Create an Album: Navigate to the new Envira Gallery > Albums menu and click Add New.
Add Galleries: Use the “Galleries” tab to select the individual galleries you want to include.
Configure Settings: Under the “Config” tab, you can adjust the layout (masonry vs. grid), column count, and display settings for titles or image counts.
Publish & Display: Once published, use the generated shortcode or the Envira Album Block in the WordPress editor to place it on any page or post.
