The plugin operates on a “Ruleset” system. Each ruleset consists of Conditions (IF) and Actions (THEN).
You can trigger actions based on several factors:
Facet Value: Triggered when a specific value is selected in a facet.
Facets in Use: Triggered if any facet is currently active or if no facets are in use.
Result Count: Triggered if the current search results match a specific number (e.g., hide filters if 0 results are found).
Page URI: Apply logic only on specific pages or URL patterns (supports wildcards).
Template: Triggered based on the active FacetWP Listing Builder template.
Once a condition is met, you can perform these actions:
Toggle: Show or Hide.
Objects: Target a specific Facet, All Facets, or even custom CSS/jQuery selectors (like a sidebar container or a specific div).
AND/OR Operators: Combine multiple conditions within a single ruleset.
ELSE Logic: Every ruleset has an “Else” setting to define what happens when the conditions are not met.
Special Selectors: Supports $EMPTY, $NONEMPTY, $ACTIVE, and $INACTIVE to target facets based on their state rather than specific values.
Export/Import: Includes built-in tools to back up your rulesets or move them between staging and production sites.
AJAX-Based: Since it hooks into FacetWP’s AJAX refresh cycle, the showing/hiding happens instantly without page reloads.
