The GetPaid Contact Form 7 integration is a WordPress add-on that bridges the gap between the popular Contact Form 7 (CF7) plugin and the GetPaid invoicing system. It allows you to transform a standard contact form into a tool for generating quotes, invoices, and managing customer data.

Quote/Invoice Generation: Visitors can request a quote or an invoice directly through a CF7 form.
Automatic Customer Creation: If the email address submitted doesn’t exist in your system, the plugin automatically creates a new GetPaid Customer profile.
Field Mapping: You can map standard CF7 fields (Name, Email, Phone, Address, etc.) to GetPaid customer attributes using specific shortcode tags.
Predefined Items: You can link specific “items” (products/services) from your GetPaid inventory to the form so they are automatically added to the generated invoice.
To connect your form data to GetPaid, you use specific wpinv tags within your Contact Form 7 editor:
wpinv_customer_name: Maps the user’s full name.
wpinv_customer_email: Maps the email address (Required for customer creation).
wpinv_customer_phone: Maps the phone number.
wpinv_customer_address: Maps the physical address.
wpinv_cf7_items: This is a special field used to add items in the format item_id|quantity. You can hide this field to force-add specific items or let users select them.
Creation: You create a form in CF7 using the GetPaid-specific tags.
Configuration: Under the Invoicing tab in the CF7 editor, you select whether the form should generate an Invoice or a Quote.
Submission: When a user submits the form, GetPaid creates a record in the “Invoices” or “Quotes” section of your WordPress dashboard.
Admin Action: The admin can then review the request, add or adjust items, and send the final invoice/quote to the user for payment.
