There is a specific Flexible Coupons PRO – Custom Shortcodes add-on designed for advanced users. It allows you to create your own shortcodes to pull data from specific WooCommerce fields.
Common sources for custom shortcodes include:
Order Meta: Pull custom data from the WooCommerce order.
Product Meta/Attributes: Display specific product details (like “Color” or “Size”) on the PDF.
Flexible Product Fields: If you use the WP Desk Flexible Product Fields plugin, you can pull data from those custom fields (like a custom engraving text) directly onto the coupon.

In PDF Templates: Go to Flexible Coupons > PDF Templates. When using the drag-and-drop editor, you can insert these shortcodes into “Text” elements.
In Emails: If you have the Advanced Sending add-on, you can use these same curly-bracket shortcodes in the email subject line or body to personalize the delivery message.
It’s easy to confuse these with WooCommerce’s native shortcodes (like [woocommerce_cart]). Unlike standard WordPress shortcodes that use square brackets [], Flexible Coupons usually uses curly brackets {} inside its internal editors to distinguish them from site-wide shortcodes.
